"UL CMIX is Accepting Graduate Applications for Spring 2017 (by 10/15)
The School of Computing and Informatics (CMIX) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (USA) seeks applicants for our graduate programs, including masters and doctoral degrees in both computer science and computer engineering. Nearly all doctoral students are supported by some type of assistantship. Doctoral students making satisfactory progress on their degrees can receive School support for up to 4 years, and possibly longer research support from their advisers. Preference for assistantships is given to doctoral applicants with prior research experience.
CMIX consists of the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS), the Computer Science program and the Informatics program. Our faculty (including 3 IEEE Fellows) are involved in the forefront of research in Big Data Analytics, Wireless Computing, Health Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, and VLSI, with diverse topic areas and various funded projects. Motivated individuals in any area of computer science and computer engineering are encouraged to apply.
For full assistantship consideration, the application deadline is October 15, 2016 for spring 2017 admission, and February 15, 2017 for fall 2017 admission.
